29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:  a) Worksite was located at 115 Euclid Avenue, Allenhurst, NJ 07711:  Six workers were exposed to fall hazards of approximately ten feet to ground as they were removing and replacing the roofing on a single-story two car garage while not utilizing fall protection.  Violation was observed on or about May 5, 2026  Huima Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1647545, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/30/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 85 Seaview Avenue, Monmouth Beach, NJ 07750.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
