Event description
One killed, another injured when struck by car
Investigation abstract
Employee #1 was walking behind a compressor blowing out cracks in the pavement. Employee #2 was pulling the compressor with a pickup truck. A car traveling in t he same direction as the truck struck Employee #1 and continued on and hit the c ompressor and pushed it into the truck. Employee #1 was killed and Employee #2 w as hospitalized.
