ELECTRIC SHOCK - CONTACT WITH OVERHEAD LINE THRU LADDER
Investigation abstract
Two employees were using a 6.1-meter-long aluminum extension ladder to gain acce ss to the roof of a house. They were part of a crew that was replacing the roof. The employees brought the ladder into contact with a 12.8-kilovolt overhead pow er line. One of the employees was electrocuted. The other received an electric s hock and was hospitalized for his injury.
