EMPLOYEE INJURED FROM FALL FROM ROOF
Investigation abstract
On February 11, 1987, at approximately 1:10 p.m., Employee #1 was on top of the Appalachian Power Company sub station building in Saltville. In the process of c utting roof steel beams from the building he walked the north wall either to sig nal the crane operator or a ground man and as he returned to his position his fo ot slipped causing him to fall approximately 32 ft to a concrete floor landing o n his head and shoulders. He was hospitalized for a concussion.
