Employee killed when pinned under tractor
Investigation abstract
Between 8:45 and 9:00 p.m. on June 1, 1988, Employee #1 was cultivating a cornfi eld using a 1950 Farmall 140 (Cub). When he had finished, he was at the edge of the field where there was a slight terrace. The tractor's left side wheels went over the edge of the terrace and the tractor flipped over, pinning the employee under it and killing him. He was discovered at 10:12 p.m. by the Thomasville pol ice while they made a routine patrol. Employee #1 was last seen at approximately 8:30 p.m. by two coworkers as they walked along the farm road.
