Employee killed when struck by falling tree limb
Investigation abstract
Employee #1 was assigned to hook trees to a skidder but had been topping trees i n an unassigned area. A stumper had cut a 60 ft oak tree that fell into a 50 ft gum tree. When the gum tree broke and fell, a limb struck Employee #1 behind the head and underneath his hard hat, killing him.
