EMPLOYEE #1 AND 4 OTHER INMATES FROM THE ALAMANCE COUNTY PRISON UNIT WERE STRUCK BY AN AUTOMOBILE WHILE ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE ORANGE SAFETY CONES FROM A ROAD. TH EY HAD BEEN MAKING REPAIRS FOR THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORATION.
