Event description
Employee suffers bruises and scratches in fall from beam
Investigation abstract
Around 10:00 a.m. on September 2, 1988, Employee #1 was installing approximately 6 ft 6 in. long by 39 in. wide bridge decking pans. He had placed one pan and, while placing another, he struck the pan he was standing on and knocked it off t he supporting beam. Employee #1 fell approximately 30 ft to the ground. He susta ined bruises and scratches, for which he was hospitalized.
