FINGER CAUGHT IN DOUGH FORMING MACHINE
Investigation abstract
EMPLOYEE #1, A MACHINE OPERATOR, WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CLEANING THE MODEL K DOUG H-FORMING MACHINE HEAD. HE SHUT THE MACHINE DOWN AND BEGAN CLEANING THE DOUGH OF F THE MACHINE HEAD. HE HOLLERED TO A HELPER TO "BUMP" THE MACHINE SWITCH TO TURN THE HEAD OVER. WHEN THE MACHINE WAS "BUMPED" EMPLOYEE #1'S HAND WAS IN THE MACH INE HEAD. THE HEAD CAUGHT THE END OF HIS RING FINGER, PINCHING IT OFF.
