EMPLOYEE #1 WAS WORKING ON THE SECOND FLOOR LEVEL, SETTING ROOF RAFTERS. HE PICK ED UP ONE OF THE RAFTERS AND STEPPED BACKWARDS INTO A STAIRWAY OPENING. HE FELL 18 FEET TO THE BASEMENT LEVEL.
