Employee inhales oleum mist
Investigation abstract
Employee #1, of a trucking company, was pumping oleum (fuming sulfuric acid) int o a storage tank at a detergent manufacturing plant. The hose burst, releasing o leum mist into the air. No one, including Employee #1, was seriously injured. Al though 13 employees went to the hospital, none were admitted.
