EMPLOYEE FELL 7 TO 8 FEET FROM ELEVATED ROADWAY
Investigation abstract
EMPLOYEE #1 WAS SWEEPING A RAISED TRUCK ACCESS RAMP (ROADWAY) AND WAS EITHER STR UCK OR FELL FROM THE UNGUARDED SIDE 7 TO 8 FEET TO THE CONCRETE FLOOR. HE SUSTAI NED SEVERAL FRACTURES, WHICH, COMBINED WITH PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITIONS, CAU SED HIS DEATH. THE ROADWAY WAS OPEN SIDED, BUT WAS CURBED FOR VEHICULAR TRAFFIC.
