STRUCK BY FALLING TREE

Investigation abstract

EMPLOYEE #1 WAS OPERATING A SKIDDER WHEN HE GOT STUCK IN A MARSHY AREA. ANOTHER EMPLOYEE, ALSO OPERATING A SKIDDER, ACCIDENTALLY STRUCK A TREE, UPROOTING IT AND KNOCKING IT OVER. EMPLOYEE #1 WALKED BEHIND THE OTHER EMPLOYEE'S SKIDDER AT THE SAME TIME THAT THE UPROOTED TREE WAS FALLING. HE WAS STRUCK IN THE HEAD BY THE FALLING TREE AND SUFFERED FATAL INJURIES.
