Event description
Two injured in fall when scaffold platform collapses
Investigation abstract
Employees #1 and #2 were working from a tubular welded-frame scaffold when the w eld on a steel strap belonging to a side bracket (or outrigger) broke, and their work platform collapsed. They fell more than 13 ft to the ground. Both were tak en to the hospital. Employee #1 was admitted with a foot and ankle injury and Em ployee #2 was treated and released.
