Employee injured in fall when ladder footing slips
Investigation abstract
Employee #1 climbed a ladder to a ledge to determine if material could be hoiste d from the third floor to the roof. After evaluating the situation, he decided a gainst it. When Employee #1 tried to leave the ledge, the footing of the ladder slipped and he fell approximately 24 ft 6 in. into a trash dumpster. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
