Six employees taken to hospital after chemical explosion
Investigation abstract
There was a chemical explosion at Lee Laboratories, Inc., Petersburg Industrial Park. Employee #1, of Lee Laboratories, and Employee #2, of Parham Scale, were h eld in the hospital for observation and discharged at 8:15 a.m. on August 16, 19 84. Employee #3, of Parham Scale, Employee #5, of the Petersburg Fire Department , and Employee #6, of Lee Laboratories, went to the emergency room for precautio nary observation, but were not admitted. Employee #4, of Lee Laboratories, was t reated and released.
