EXPOSURE TO 1,1,1 TRICHLOROETHANE

Investigation abstract

ALL 40 EMPLOYEES WERE EXPOSED INDIRECTLY TO 1,1,1 TRICHLOROETHANE. SOME BECAME L IGHTHEADED AND DIZZY. BECAUSE OF SYMPTOMS, THE EMPLOYEES WERE TAKEN TO THE HOSPI TAL TO BE EXAMINED. ALL BUT THREE WERE EXAMINED AND RELEASED. THE THREE WERE HEL D DUE TO PREDISPOSING FACTORS. THE EMPLOYEES WERE EXPOSED TO THE SOLVENT FOR ONL Y A BRIEF PERIOD OF TIME WHILE ON BREAK.
