POTENTIAL FALL FROM SCAFFOLDING

Investigation abstract

COMPLIANT WAS MADE REGARDING UNSAFE PIPE AND UNGUARDED SCAFFOLD. PIPE IS NOT IN VIOLATION. SCAFFOLD THAT TWO COMPANIES WERE USING WAS NOT GUARDED. CHARLES KRAFT , WHO IS EMPLOYED BY INDUSTRIAL SERVICES DIVISION WAS USING A BAKER TYPE SCAFFOL D, TO HANG HANGERS, FOR WATER PIPE, THE SCAFFOLD WAS 6 FT HIGH. HE CAN FALL OFF SCAFFOLD TO CONCRETE FLOOR. JERRY HILKER, WHO IS EMPLOYED BY AMERICAN MONORAIL O F BALTIMORE INC, WAS USING A ROLLING SCAFFOLD THAT WAS NOT FULLY PLANKED. HE WAS USING THE SCAFFOLD TO INSTALL A MONORAIL SYSTEM FOR A CRANE. HE CAN FALL 7 FT. TO THE CONCRETE FLOOR.
