Event description

Employee drowns after stumbling from ledge

Investigation abstract

Employee #1 was backing a wheelbarrow out of a condominium unit onto a stone dec k. The employee probably caught the heel of his foot on the lip of the concrete deck foundation and tumbled down 4 ft onto a narrow ledge. His momentum apparent ly carried him over the ledge, where he fell an additional 10 ft into the water and drowned.
