ELECTRIC SHOCK - GROUND FAULT IN MOBILE HOME
Investigation abstract
An employee was working under a mobile home, removing bolts from three axles. Th f the home, electrocuting the employee. ere were two bolts on each axle and one on each side. The employee was using a d ouble insulated impact wrench powered by an isolated 3.5-kilowatt generator moun ted on a truck. The employee was using a two-conductor extension cord with an eq uipment grounding conductor. The neutral bus in the circuit breaker box supplyin g the mobile home was bonded to the frame of the home. One of the owners was att empting to energize the mobile home wiring by randomly touching a conductor with in the box to different terminals inside the box until the lights came on.
