STRUCK BY FALLING TREE

Investigation abstract

Employee #1 was trying to dislodge a storm-damaged tree by felling another tree across it. The tree being felled kicked back, striking the employee in the back and knocking him to the ground. While he was on the ground, the tree fell on him . He sustained multiple internal injuries and later died from cardiac arrest.
