Employee killed in fall into wood pulper
Investigation abstract
At approximately 8:30 p.m. on May 4, 1984, Employee #1 was sitting on a guardrai l that surrounded a pulper that mashed and chopped up scraps of Celote board. Em ployee #1 was cautioned by coworkers to get off the railing because of the dange r of falling into the pulper, but he failed to heed their warnings. The machine jammed and Employee #1 was found in the pulper. The coroner's report was pending at the time this report was filed.
