Two employees injured in gas main blowout fire

Investigation abstract

Employee #1 was operating a trenching machine while Employee #2 was watching fro m ground level to determine if the proper line was being dug. Contact was made w ith a 2 in. steel gas main, resulting in a fire. Employees #1 and #2 sustained i njuries that required hospitalization.
