Event description
Employee killed in fall through rusted roof
Investigation abstract
On November 19, 1988, Employee #1 was told to take a break. He walked onto a spo t on the roof of the building that he had been told to stay away from. This part of the roof was off limits because it was rusted through in several places and presumably would not support a man's weight. The roof gave way under Employee #1 and he fell 148 feet to his death.
