Event description

Employee killed when crushed under falling load of lumber

Investigation abstract

Employee #1, age 20, was straightening lumber on the floor. He was working under a lift of 4 in. by 4 in. by 8 ft posts when the cantilevers holding the load pu lled out of the cantilever beams and the posts fell on top of him. Employee #1 w as crushed and killed.
