Event description

Employee injured when pinned under falling column

Investigation abstract

Employee #1 was working in the cellar of a partially demolished two-family house when he touched a loose column. The column gave way, trapping the employee unde r debris. After approximately 90 minutes, the local fire department rescued Empl oyee #1. He was taken to the hospital and released.
