Employee's head injured in 10 ft fall from scaffold
Investigation abstract
Employee #1 was standing on a 10 ft high scaffold watching a coworker use a chip ping hammer that he had just been using. An 18 in. walkboard slipped, sliding 12 in. away from the other walkboard. Employee #1's leg fell into the opening and while trying to hold on, he fell off the end of the scaffold, landing on the con crete floor. Employee #1 was hospitalized with head injuries.
