Employee fractures and lacerates ankle in fall from ladder

Investigation abstract

At 1:40 p.m. on May 17, 2021, an employee working as a millwright for a leasing company for heavy equipment was descending a roof from a 6-foot Louisville stepladder. He lost his footing and his foot went through the steps causing him to fall. He pulled the ladder down with him as he fell. The employee was hospitalized to treat a fractured right ankle.
