Employee's fingertip is amputated by activated bulker blade
Investigation abstract
At 6:00 a.m. on May 26, 2021, an employee was making hamburger and reached into a bulker machine to gather meat. In doing so, he unintentionally engaged the pressure switch, which activated the blade. The tip of the middle finger on his left hand was amputated. The employee was hospitalized for treatment.
