Investigation abstract
At 1:30 p.m. on June 1, 2021, Employee #1 was working in a vineyard, removing suckers from grape plants with scissors alongside the rest of the crew. While gathering dry suckers from the stem of a grapevine, a rattlesnake approximately 10 inches long bit him on the right middle finger. The employee was treated at Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa and was hospitalized overnight.
