Employee amputates wrist when caught in running saw
Investigation abstract
At 1:00 p.m. on June 17, 2021, Employee #1 was cutting wood when the saw blade became jammed. While the blade was still running, Employee #1 attempted to remove the wood manually. His left hand came into contact with the saw blade, resulting in an amputation at the wrist. The employee was hospitalized for treatment.
