Investigation abstract
An employee was working as an associate personnel analyst for a state's division accident investigation on June 23, 2021. Prior to contracting COVID-19, the employee worked three days a week in the office. The employee was not vaccinated. The employer was not cited for any accident-related violations. of motor vehicles. She worked indoors in an office environment. The worksite was a multi-story office building. On May 31, 2021, she began experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. The last day the employee was in the office was May 28, 2021. At 3:50 p.m. on June 11, 2021, the employee was admitted to the hospital, when she tested positive for COVID-19. She was treated for pneumonia related to COVID-19. At 4:30 p.m. on June 15, 2021, the employer confirmed her hospitalization for COVID-19.
