Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized

Investigation abstract

Five employees were working in a skilled nursing facility when a COVID-19 outbreak and investigated the exposures. outbreak occurred in the facility. The employee and four coworkers were all infected with the COVID-19 virus, two of which work with the employee. The other two employees work for the therapy employer who provided onsite physical and occupational therapy services for the residents. All five employees who contracted the virus were fully vaccinated at the time. The employee was working as the director of maintenance when he contracted COVID-19 and was hospitalized on May 31, 2021, for nearly two weeks. None of the other infected employees required hospitalization. The local health department was made aware of the
