Employee amputates finger when caught in conveyor gear sproc

Investigation abstract

At 10:45 p.m. on July 12, 2021, an employee working as a temporary employee hired on through a staffing agency was working at a client site. The employee caught his left glove in the gear sprocket of a Holac Line Conveyor #6 while removing product from the belt. The employee received medical treatment without hospitalization for an amputated left index finger.
