Event description

Employee severely cuts elbow while inserting cardboard boxes

Investigation abstract

At 6:00 a.m. on June 14, 2021, an employee was inserting cardboard boxes into a baler. A cardboard box was hanging out, and as the press plate was coming down, the employee tried to push the box back in. The employee sustained a severe cut around both the interior and exterior sides of the right elbow. Emergency services transported the employee to the hospital, where he was admitted and treated.
