Employee amputates pinky and ring finger after hand is caugh

Investigation abstract

At 8:15 a.m. on July 13, 2021, Employee #1 was tightening a loose belt on the Facial Cross Mill Conveyor when the equipment unexpectedly started. Employee #1's left hand was caught between the conveyor belt and pulley, resulting in severed pinky and ring finger. Emergency services transported the employee to the hospital for admission and treatment.
