Employee sustains puncture injury from nail gun
Investigation abstract
At 1:30 p.m. on July 28, 2021, Employee #1 was building a pallet and had his arm positioned in front of the direction of a nail gun. While squeezing the trigger and attempting to engage the safety against the end cap, the safety missed, and a 3-inch nail was discharged into the employee's left forearm. Emergency services transported the employee for medical treatment. The employee was hospitalized.
