Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee had been performing his duties as a maintenance mechanic. The employee reported feeling ill the week of July 23, 2021. On August 1, 2021, the employee was hospitalized and died. Post mortum testing indicated that the employee was positive for COVID-19 at the time of his death. The employee also had other underlying medical conditions at the time that contributed to death.
