Employee?s fingers are amputated while operating metal shear
Investigation abstract
At 8:00 a.m. on July 19, 2021, Employee #1 was operating a Cincinnati 2506 metal shear to cut sheet metal parts. As he activated the machine, his left hand slipped under the fixed guard, and his fingers were amputated by the shear. Employee #1 was hospitalized for treatment.
