Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working as a registered nurse at a nursing care or skilled nursing facility. Her last day of work at the center was Monday, July 19, 2021. When she came back to the center to work on Thursday, July 22, 2021, she was tested for COVID-19. The results came back positive, and she was sent home to quarantine for ten days. On July 31, 2021, she went to the hospital, and she was admitted. The next day, at 2:00 p.m. on August 1, 2021, she died, due to complications of COVID-19.
