Investigation abstract
At 8:00 a.m. on May 10, 2021, Employee #1, employed by Milk Specialties Global, was working at a milk processing plant. He was inserting a probe into a closed processing system when he loosened the cap on a tube. The clamp on the tube was released, and scalding water spewed out of the tube. The hot water burned Employee #1's back and legs. Emergency services transported the employee to the hospital, where he was admitted and treated for burns to his back and legs.
