Event description

Employee crushes foot when bar stock bundle stack collapses

Investigation abstract

At 1:50 p.m. on August 5, 2021, an employee working for a manufacturer of precision turned products was operating an overhead crane. The employee was moving bundles of bar stock. He began stacking the bundles on top of each other when the stack collapsed and fell on his foot. The employee was hospitalized to treat a crushed foot.
