An employee was working as an licensed practical nurse in a veteran's nursing home when she began feeling ill on July 19, 2021. The employee was tested for COVID-19 on July 22, 2021 and was hospitalized on July 29, 2021, with COVID-19 related double pneumonia. The employee successfully recovered from her infection.
