Employee amputates fingertip on CNC copper tubing bending ma
Investigation abstract
At 2:25 p.m. on June 28, 2021, Employee #1 was operating Machine #29, a CNC machine that bends copper tubing for specialty HVAC components. The employee placed her hand into the machine before it completed its cycle. She sustained an amputation of the left corner of her right middle finger's fingertip. The employee was treated without hospitalization.
