At 4:30 a.m. on May 20, 2021, an employee was operating an electric gantry crane to lift construction equipment. While performing the lift, the trained operator placed his left hand on the cable near the pulley. The employee sustained a partial amputation of the left pinky finger. The employee was hospitalized for treatment.
