Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized
Investigation abstract
At 12:00p.m. on July 23, 2021, Employee # 1 was working as a merchandising returned to work on August 12, 2021. Employee # 1 had no close contacts with positive COVID cases at work. Several of his family members also tested positive and had symptoms but were not hospitalized. Employee # 1's wife also works at the worksite and tested positive at the same time but did not have any close contacts at work. She quarantined at home for 14 days and also returned to work. manager. Employee # 1's last day of work was Friday July 23, 2021. He began feeling symptoms on Sunday, July 25, 2021, and he went to the emergency room. He was administered a test for COVID-19 and received a positive result. He was evaluated and sent home on the same day. Employee # 1 notified his employer of the positive test and began isolation at home. Employee # 1's symptoms worsened over the next week, and he returned to the emergency room on August 1, 2021, and was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
