Event description
Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
Employee # 1 was working at a clinic as a medical assistant and call center attendee. Employee # 1 was two months pregnant and suffered from Keto-acidosis, diabetes, and was not vaccinated against COVID-19 virus. Employee # 1 came to work late and left early due to her children being sick, on the last day she worked. Employee # 1 did not exhibit or reporting any signs of illness herself. Employee # 1 and her children were reported to be COVID-19 positive the next day. Six days later, at 7:50 p.m. on August 11, 2021, Employee # 1 died while she was being treated at the emergency room. She died of COVID-19 virus related infections.
