Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working in a convenience store when she began experiencing COVID-19 symptoms during her shift and left work early. The employee called in sick for her shift on July 17, 2021, and took a COVID-19 test which returned positive on July 19. The employee's symptoms worsened and she was hospitalized on July 26, 2021 for COVID-19 related symptoms. The employee died on July 26, 2021, due COVID-19 complications.
