Employees with COVID-19 infection are hospitalized
Investigation abstract
Employee #1 worked at a worksite in a special needs high school classroom where there is 1 Teacher, 6 Paraeducators, a Behavior Specialist, and approximately 14 students. On August 19, 2021, the employer reported hospitalization of one employee due to Covid 19 and a total of 4 positive Covid -19 employees that work in the same classroom. Employee #1 was admitted to the hospital on August 13, 2021, and Employee #2 was admitted to the hospital on August 10, 2021 through August 12, 2021 and again on August 19, 2021 through September 10, 2021. There were four positive cases within a two-week period of employees working in the same classroom.
