Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee who was a journeyman electric wireman field technician, last worked on August 18, 2021. The company Corporate Safety Director stated that he drove a company work vehicle and usually worked at assigned worksites by himself. The employee reported feeling ill August 14, 2021. The employee worked a full day on August 17, 2021, and took a COVID-19 test on August 20, 2021. The test results came back positive on August 22, 2021. The employee died at home at 8:00 a.m. on August 22, 2021.
